method:
equipment
- sugar
- baking soda
- golden syrup
- tablespoon
- pot
- cookie cutter
- baking paper
- Bunsen burner
instructions
- get your equipment
- wash your hands
- set up Bunsen burner
- put the pot on the tripod over the Bunsen burner
- light the Bunsen burner
- add 5 tablespoons of sugar to the pot
- add 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
- melt and mix
- turn off the gas and add one tablespoon of baking soda and mix
- scrape the Hokey Pokey on to the baking paper
- let it cool for minute
- press a cookie cutter into the Hokey Pokey
