Fractions of amounts

Yesterday in Maths we were learning about fractions.
I really like doing all my maths, it is lots of fun and great to learn but sometimes I find it hard.
I have no favourite kinds of maths, I just like it all.

Buddy Class

Room 1 is our buddy class. We do lots of fun activities with them. Today one buddy is teaching the other buddy about blogging. I do not have a buddy so today my buddy is Tash. We are working on this post together. The reason why we have a buddy class is to teach our buddy about working together. There is usually an older buddy and a younger buddy. The younger buddy is from room 1 and the older buddy is from room 7.

Magic Show

 Last week there was a magic show on at school. It was called Be Bright, Eat Right. He was talking about eating right and he used a diagram to tell us about protein, vegetables, fruit, dairy and grains. In the magic show he put some money in a glass case and waved it around, then put it behind his poster. When he bought it back out it was full of money. I really enjoyed the show.
